The new issue of the COLlive Magazine was published and printed in honor of the International Kinus Hashluchim this week in New York.
Containing 76 pages, it will be distributed free to participants of the conference who traveled from around the world and will also be available for pick-up in stores and businesses in Crown Heights.
The magazine focuses on war in the holy land of Israel, paying tribute to the Israeli Shluchim who remained behind to help their communities.
U.S. Shluchim, who recently visited the land, share first-hand stories, Colel Chabad relates its critical activities, and a panel discussion reviews “Chabad war etiquette.”
The JEM organization features photos of the Rebbe with political leaders from Israel, family therapist Rabbi Daniel Schonbuch addresses how to talk to children about the war, and a quiz was created on Chabad trivia in Israel.
Feature articles highlight the lives of longtime Shliach Rabbi Avrumi Bukiet, and London jeweler and chossid R’ Bobby Vogel, the life insurance of the Areivim organization, and the new book “Illuminations.”
Also in this issue: 4 easy recipes for dinner, a humorous history of Thanksgiving in America, and a kosher restaurant guide in Crown Heights.
