As 1,200 college students checked out of Crown Heights, and the invigorating ‘JewFest’ Shabbaton experience, their last stop was the Ohel.
Students attended an empowering concluding session, with encouragement to harness the energy and inspiration of the event, and to become lamplighters of Judaism upon returning home. In preparation for the culminating visit to the Ohel, students took a moment to introspect and write a pan.
For many, this was a defining moment in their spiritual journey to decide on a new resolution for greater commitment to Jewish observance.
Despite this being the first point of connection to the Rebbe on a very personal level for the majority of attendees, students were uplifted and stirred by their experience at the Ohel, with many reporting it to be the climax of the entire JewFest experience.

You can see by some of the photos that some were very visibly affected by their visit to the Ohel. I’m sure it was the best way to cap the Jewfest experience. My impression of the entire thing is extremely positive. Hatzlacha Rabba, keep up your wonderful holy work which should certainly hasten Moshiach’s coming, may it be Now!!
Love seeing the Rebbe’s kinderlach coming to visit, each and every one of these neshamos was picked and blessed to connect with the Rebbe.
