Classy, beautiful, and well dressed is good. Fashion, on the other hand is made to be attracting. But, maybe that’s what you mean when you use the word “fashion”.
Dear Morah Swedlov.
I love your weekly thoughts. You are so inspiring. We need all the inspiration we can get… Is there an e mail address where we can thank you personally? coffeewithmiryam.com seems to be missing the @ part. TY:):). Haztlacha!!!!!
Love watching. Besides all the wonderful things you say, your smile is so sweet. You are very photogenic and you warm our hearts
i was going to comment on the Baalas Tshuva comment…mentchlichkeit, eidelkeit, decency, kavod habrios and many many other things that even not-as-yet frum parents teach their children. Those lessons stay with you for life.
love all your comments and ideas.

I really enjoy listening to these videos, Mrs. Swerdlov! Refreshing and to the point! Thank you!
The Rebbe once said to a non-Jew who asked what is his purpose then? The Rebbe said: only by fulfilling your purpose we can fulfill our purpose. Everyone is necessary in the big picture. Everyone has value in this world
I’m a BT for many years. My beloved mom, she should love til 120, is my role model for so many aspects of my life. Along the way, I found mentors, teachers and rebetzens—and they guided me too. But please don’t discount your upbringing altogether. Our parents’ love and lessons are valuable regardless.

Thank you. Listening as I am preparing for Shabbos. So inspiring. Have a Gut Shabbos.
WE live in this world… the key I feel is to be refined & fashionable not in your face vulgar fashionBle. People look up at us and we must have a regal Bearing not frumpy!
Beautiful thought. But all said and done older wiser individuals are nodding their heads… BUT the youngsters are not getting this so what do we do? How do we help them feel this without preaching …. it’s sensitive!
Gorgeous again but there’s one piece that can change with different individuals.
Many of us are baal teshuvas whose parents we cannot follow in the way you suggest. May I humbly offer that the word parent stay but in some cases the parent will be the Rebbe, who was my father, even though I never met him.
How do I know he was my father? Because he knew about my struggles long before I knew about them. Only a caring parent knows that.
Good Shabbos
GPS – Gezunt, Parnassah & Simcha
Simcha is nachas; it is simchas chayim and it is general all encompassing Simcha – the one ingredient that infuses life into all we do and talk about doing.
