The freelance matchmaking platform that is the latest project of Crown Heights Young Entrepreneurs (CHYE) is already seeing success in the first days since it went live this weekend. Dubbed CH Creative, the platform serves as a matchmaker, a meeting place for creative talent and businesses that need their services. Freelancers sign up to showcase their work and businesses log on to the website to scout creative talent to match their needs.
After months of behind-the-scenes work, CH Creative’s project leader Yehuda Tanenbaum is pleased with the response in these first few days. “It’s exciting to watch it work in real-time,” he says. Since launching, multiple organizations, both local and international, have used CH Creative to hire freelancers. The launch comes just as schools are about to start a new academic year and organizations and businesses are preparing for the Yomim Tovim.
“The hub is a solution that is genius in its simplicity,” says Mendel Bergstein of Branded Design. Though Mendel has been in the graphic design business for five years already, he says everyone can benefit from a hub such as CH Creative because, “They’re bringing together a pool of people who speak the same language.” Unlike other freelance platforms, all those showcased on CH Creative have experience working with the Jewish community. Some describe it as “The Jewish Fiverr,” referring to the freelance platform that connects businesses with on-demand freelance talent.
“At CH Creative, you have a catalog of freelancers, specializing in all different fields, laid out before you, it makes finding and hiring creative talent a breeze,” says Berri Wolosow of CHYE, who along with Avi Winner and Mendy Plotkin is one of the brains behind CH Creative.
The platform showcases videographers, copywriters, graphic designers, photographers, marketers, and others on its easy-to-use interface. “Whether you are a marketer looking for a designer, a moisad looking for a copywriter to work on your charidy campaign, a business looking for product photography, or a shliach looking to make an educational video, CH Creative is your one-stop-shop,” Yehuda says.
The website is sleek, easy to navigate and free to use. Every creative has a page that details their expertise and years of experience along with samples of their work. Businesses can easily connect to the talent they are looking for directly from the platform via an embedded link.
CH Creative is a live platform that will keep growing as more freelancers come on board. It is fully sponsored by CHYE. Stop searching for freelancers and start hiring them at CHCreative.info. Follow @_chcreative on Instagram for news and updates.
