23 Kita Alef boys from Cheder Oholey Chinuch Chabad, Buenos Aires, Argentina, recently celebrated their Chumash Party. This marked the first cheder party at the new impressive and modern building. The kids were amazed when entering the new, modern and special building is set to be inaugurated next year.
Rabbi Dovid Orbach, the first-grade Rebbe, welcomed the kids who started the program by singing a Spanish song about Hashem’s creation.
Following this, Rabbi Pinchas Chein, Principal of the Cheder, gave a beautiful speech explaining the importance of receiving and studying Chochmas Hashem. The kids received their Chumash one by one from their parents and learned the first 2 Pesukim from inside.
Rabbi Shiele Plotka, father of a student, addressed the children with a story and words of happiness about this milestone. Finally, after singing a short version of the Nigun “Podo B’Sholom,” the kids received a Kvort for Netilas Yodoim as a present, along with a yummy ice cream and fruit salad.
“It’s so nice to see how kids across the globe learn and receive Yiddishkeit as the Rebbe teaches us,” the school staff said.
