The Shiur Gimmel class of Chovevei Torah Mesivta in Crown Heights celebrated their graduation and Siyum on Wednesday in the presence of their proud parents, grandparents and families.
The MC for the event was bochur Yechezkel Freundlich, who welcomed participants. Bochur Yankel Gurkov made a Siyum on Masechta Brachos.
Menahel Rabbi Menachem Minsky addressed the crowd and gave words of Chizuk to the Bochurim. Rabbi Minsky praised the bochurim for their efforts and diligence in learning in the past few years, especially during their first year of Mesivta when they learned on zoom.
He marveled that the class is very united despite the many challenges they faced and praised their success in learning.
Magid Shiur Rabbi Yaakov Kopel Klein encouraged the bochurim to continue their learning and wished the bochurim success in their Yeshiva Gedola years.
Other speakers included Magid Shiur Rabbi Eliyahu Simpson, Mashpia Rabbi Meir Rodal, Rabbi Eli Labkowsky, Rabbi Meir Shur and Rabbi Shmuel Marasow.
The event followed with the distribution of diplomas and awards for bochurim who excelled in learning and Gemara Baal Peh.
Bochur Shmuli Raskin, a graduating student, spoke about taking their learning with them for life, wherever they may go.
Rabbi Yossi Malamud of Crown Heights, a parent of a student and sponsor of some of the prizes which were distributed, spoke on behalf of the parents, praising the Yeshiva and the devoted hanhallah and teachers.
