A special gathering will be held Thursday to mark Chof Zayin Adar, the day the Rebbe suffered a stroke.
Rabbi Simon Jacobson and Rabbi Sholom Moshe Paltiel will speak.
A friend of Gedalya Greenzayd obm, who passed away on Sunday, will speak as well.
The event, which is being organized by a group of Kollel Yungeleit, will take place Thursday, 8PM in the Oholei Torah ballroom.
“We hope all men and women will attend this important event,” organizers said, “especially this week as we are all totally shaken by the tragedy which occurred in our community.”

FYI: When R’ Jacobson began speaking the place was pretty packed, standing room only.
It looks pretty emty wondering why. And why did they write about the event its being ran by kolel yungetleit it was clearly ran by the moshiach weekly guys so if they believe in what they do why do they hide their name and agenda they must realize themselves that there is something wrong they do sounds weird last tome they said it’s shiur daled o t where in fact they are in shiur beis youngsters and this time….
What a huge nachas to the Rebbe for your putting this together. It was outstanding and inspiring from beginning to end. Many zchusim to you for helping to keep the lamps burning until they stay lit on their own. (Even the woman who came a little early was so happy she stayed 🙂
Well said.
Listening to Rabbi Simon Jacobson’s talk on Chof Zayin Adar changed my life. I became so resigned and cynical over these last 22 years. My hope has been restored, and now have an action plan. Thank you from the depths of my heart. You bring the Rebbe pride, and you bring Chassidus alive.
Listen to this talk. It will change your life.
Chof Zayin Adar: 22 Years Later and still we close our schools and yeshivas for three months a year.
The Rebbe wanted school open throughout the year.
Moshiach is not going to come if we shut our Yeshivas and Schools for three months.
