Tzivos Hashem Chidon staff has announced that after 11:59 pm tonight, Tuesday, February 22, registration will be closed with no exceptions.
“We made a strong Hachloto last year that we will do everything in our power to make sure that any child that signs up on time will receive their rewards on time. We are committed to ensure that we keep our promise,” says Rabbi Zalmy Kudan, director of Chidon Communications. “Boruch Hashem over 5,000 children have already signed up and we are excited to start packing their rewards.”
“This operation must start tomorrow morning,” says director of operations, Rabbi Mendel Wolowik. “Boruch Hashem there are over 50,000 different products to ship to thousands of children in hundreds of locations around the world. Many items are personalized with custom names and sizes. Preparing these items and making sure that every child gets everything they deserve is a huge operation.”
“We are doing all we can to make sure every parent gets this message,” says Rabbi Yerachmiel Benjaminson, Executive Director of Tzivos Hashem. “We have made a parent Zoom to clarify this to the parents. It was on the back page of Hachayol Magazine for the past three weeks. There have been posters hanging in schools. Any parent that signed up to the Chidon Whatsapp groups received reminders. Each Chidon Coordinator has sent out personal messages to each parent that has not yet signed up, to notify them that after 11:59pm there will be NO EXCEPTIONS.”
“If you know anyone that has not yet signed up please pass on this message,” says Rabbi Shimmy Weinbaum, General of the Chayolei Tzivos Hashem Brigade.
“Our mission is Every Child, Every Mitzvah, we are doing everything we can to ensure that every child can join. Just during registration alone we have given over $200,000 in additional subsidies. At this point we will need to raise over 1.3 Million dollars to cover the subsidies, something we are excited to do knowing how much these children have learned and how their dedication will bring Moshiach says,” says Chidon Director Rabbi Shmuel Bronstein. “If the reason a parent has not signed up is due to lack of funds please apply for a subsidy. No child will be left behind.”
“It is unfathomable how much Nachas the Rebbe must get from this incredible program,” says Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Vice Chairman of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch. “Over 600,000 hours of Limmud Hatorah just this year is more than mind-blowing. A huge Zechus for Mrs. Sora Rohr whom the Yahadus Books and Chidon is dedicated in her memory by her son Mr. George Rohr. May all the dedication of all these children bring an end to this Golus and bring about the Geulah Hoamitis Vehashlaimo NOW!”
All mosdos should learn from chidon how to make registration simple
i was never to interested in Chidon. Filled out the formed. never paid it much attention. This year during registration it asked who does your child learn with. I decided to click “with parent”. My daughter and I set a time on Sunda and Shabbos to learn. It was an incredible eye opener, to see the amount of information these children acquire. I was blown away to see how my 8th grade daughter, who never cared much for school, or the programs they made, was so invested in learning, reviewing and remember the torah. I dont know what Chidon is… Read more »
I registered.
was smooth and simple
I wish Camp registration was so simple.
My son is in 8th grade. We have been struggling to keep him involved in the right things. We lost the fight against him getting a smart phone….. We where advised to try and just get him involved in good things and not focus on the bad. After seeing what Chidon did for our daughter, we convinced him to sign up in the beginning of the year. I dont know what he found so interesting, or what motivated him. But he is in a different place now. I was surprised to see how much the registration cost, but what i… Read more »
Why are you complaining about how much it cost?
you are clearly saying it helped your son
and besides, they offered ANYONE %50 off
and if you couldn’t afford that, you can request a greater discount and YOU TELL THEM how much you can afford (my understanding was that what ever you write is excepted)
Chidon is the only Moised that i know that will not turn a parent away because of financial reasons
