Today is the last chance to register for this year’s Chidon!
The Chidon was established in order to fulfill the Rebbe’s directive that all men, women, and children become well-versed in the 613 mitzvos of our Torah. “For yaldei hashluchim around the world, the Chidon is a uniting force, a chance to join something of great importance to the Rebbe,” says Rabbi Mendy Shanowitz, director of Myshliach.
Last year 1,832 chayolim from 45 different mosdos and 62 cities around the world participated in the international Chidon Sefer Hamitzvos.
“The impact of the Chidon grows each year! Last year in grades 5-7 there were 112 talmidim that took the first test,” says Rabbi Yehoshua Lustig, Chidon Coordinator of Oholei Torah Crown Heights. “This year 152 Talmidim have already registered!”
