Chesed Shel Emes – Florida Division held its Appreciation Luncheon on Tuesday, April 24, to honor the selfless volunteers who devote their time to make noble work possible.
Held at 41 on the Bay, a kosher restaurant in Miami Beach, the event honored Dr. Bruce Hyma, Miami Dade County Chief Medical Examiner.
Also honored were the Police Detectives and Investigators of both Sunrise and Miami Beach Police Departments.
Rabbi Pinchas Weberman, leader of the Ohev Shalom Congregation, was recognized for his many years of chaplaincy with the Miami Beach Police Department, Miami-Dade Police Department, U.S. Department of Justice ATF and the Miami-Dade county Medical Examiner.
Rabbi Leibel Miller, Director Chevra Kadisha of Florida (Chabad) and Chaplain of the Florida Division of the Chesed Shel Emes, warmly thanked the honorees and participants.
Also in attendance were Rabbi Tzvi Betcovits of Tzeirei Agudat Chabad of Greater Miami and Shmuly Andrusier of Hatzalah of Miami-Dade.
That was a great Kavod for me just to be invited and be in the presence of our great leaders.
