Life feels more chaotic than ever. Divisive politics, economic pressure and anxiety riddle the adult world, while many young adults struggle with self esteem and relationships.
Cheder Lubavitch Morristown is an island of happiness in a sea of uncertainty, where more than 250 children find safety, security, and joy in yiddishe and chassidishe values.
Here, children from toddlers through 8th grade play, learn, form lifelong friendships, and build their chassidishe lives on this strong foundation. Over 75 families from Morristown and beyond trust the Cheder to be their children’s happy place. We’re inviting you to invest in this happy place by supporting our Charidy campaign to raise at least $80,000.
Established more than 45 years ago, the Cheder has produced alumni who make an impact all over the world, from shluchim, to melamdim and melamdos, to successful businessmen and community leaders. Many of our current parents are Cheder alumni who want their own children to absorb the optimistic outlook and simcha that characterize the Cheder and its 50+ dedicated staff members.
In 2019, our community raised an astounding $120,000 to help expand the Cheder. We found the means because the Cheder is not a luxury, it’s a necessity! There’s still so much we need to do to upgrade the Cheder and so much we can do to enhance our facilities but we really need your help. Each donation is doubled, thanks to our group of anonymous matchers. On May 11, we launch our 36 hour Charidy campaign.
