Cheder Chabad of Monsey marked Chof Beis Shvat with beautiful programs. The boys and girls schools were honored to host Rabbi Shamshi Junik of Crown Heights who spoke about the unique connection his family shared with Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka and the special Zchus he had to work in the Rebbetzin’s house.
Though always a private person, the Rebbetzin was known to have a special bond with certain families who cherished the relationship with her strongly, including the Juniks. Rabbi Junik shared stories from his time working in the Rebbe and Rebbetzin’s house, including one time he even bought the Rebbetzin a birthday gift.
The students were inspired by the anecdotes the Rabbi Junik shared about the Rebbetzin, highlighting her sensitivity, compassion, Tznius, and Hiskashrus to the Rebbe. We thank Rabbi Junik for dedicating his time to our Talmidim and Talmidos!
