The Cheder at the Ohel held a pre Lag Baomer parade Friday in Valley Stream, NY, with police escort and a car playing accapella chassidic music.
Children marched from their school, down the block, holding posters describing the different mitzvots that Jews can do and posters of different Jewish seferim.
They did their best to spread the light of Torah to others with their enthusiasm and sprit marching down the streets of Valley Stream.
Arriving in front of the school the children recited the 12 pesukim with their rebbes. Back inside the students finished their school day with a farbrengen complete with nosh and stories about Shimon bar Yochai.
Thank you to Rabbi Goldshmid, shliach of Valley Steam and all the parents who contributed to the parade’s success.
