For the first time ever, Chayenu will be issuing a special edition of their weekly publication for the upcoming Chabad girls high school convention.
The annual high school convention will IYH be taking place over the weekend of 25 Adar Alef, March 3-March 6. With over 1000 girls expected to participate during this hakhel year, Bais Rivka and the organizers of this event were looking for a way to make this convention better than ever.
With the theme being “Ish es raahu yaazoru”, the idea of empowering yourself to empower others, individual Chayenu learning booklets seemed like an appropriate gift for each girl to receive at the start of the weekend. However, since the convention will be taking place from Thursday to Sunday, going over both weeks of Parshas Vayakhel and Parshas Pekudei, giving two Chayenus to each girl didn’t seem like a possibility.
Yet a solution was found and with the generous help of Chayenu, every girl will be able to receive their own convention special edition of Chayenu. Headed by Yossi Pels, the executive director of Chayenu, their team put together a publication with learning exclusively for those four days of the convention. This 50+ page study booklet will include the daily Tanya, Chumash, Hayom Yom, Geulah thoughts, as well as added content dedicated to this year of Hakhel and to Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka.
The Chayenus are being generously sponsored by Rabbi Benjy Stock in loving memory of his parents Reb Shimshon and Mattel Stock.
A big thank you to Bais Rivka Schools for organizing this project and to Chayenu and all of their publishers including Kehot, Feldheim, Sichos in English, and Chabad House Publications.
