In preparation for Gimmel Tammuz, a Chaluka – distribution was made of the Rebbe’s Torah.
The Rebbe’s Torah is a complete library of more than two hundred and fifty (250!) volumes. This includes “Likutei Sichos,” “Toras Menachem,” “Igros Kodesh,” “Reshimos,” “Hayom Yom”, “Haggodah Shel Pesach,” “Toldot Maharash” and more.
To help the general public as to which Sefer to choose, Tzeirei Agudas Chabad Hamerkozis, the Lubavitch Youth Organization arranged a special website where all the Rebbe’s books appear. Anyone can go in and choose “to his hearts delight” as much as he wants, whether it is the Rebbe’s talks for one parsha, or an entire volume of the Rebbe’s talks. Moreover, if what he wants to learn is already “taken,” he can find what he wants “open” in another Chaluko (distribution).
The basis for this endeavor is the Rebbe’s words in “Hayom Yom” of 24 Sivan, (and in many places in similar expressions) that “the desire for Hiskashrus (bind with the Rebbe) can only be satisfied when one learns the Ma-amorim and Sichos that the Rebbe says and writes.” And the Rebbe adds the word “only.”
Gimmel Tammuz is the time to strengthen that Hiskashrus with the Rebbe.
The study is from Gimmel Tammuz, Year of Hakhel, this year, till Gimmel Tammuz of next year 5784.
Tzeirei Agudas Chabad Hamerkozis also arranged for each and every participant to receive several electronically computerized reminders throughout the year.
“In this Chalukoh there is the benefit of the ‘Chut Hamshulosh’ – the ‘Tripple Bind’ the study of Torah, the Achdus (unity) of the learners, and the Hiskashrus – the bind with the Rebbe by learning his Torah,” said one of the organizers.
