“As a resident of Crown Heights for over 50 years, a peace activist for 30 years, and a former NYS Democratic District Leader for 6 years, it has been my family’s life goal to create an environment of peace and demonstrate how much we have in common. We share many of the same values, and both of our communities have faced persecution over the years,” Davis said.
“Nissim is both a Chassidic Jew and an African American man, bridging both of our worlds. I’m proud to bring him to Crown Heights.”
Join us as we continue to light up the darkness and UNITE AGAINST HATE. Wednesday, January 29th, at 6 p.m. at the Major R. Owens Health and Wellness Community Center, 1561 Bedford Avenue, Brooklyn.
