Chani Greenbaum, floral designer and event producer from Crown Heights, has always been goal-driven, building her event production business from the ground up and becoming one of the most sought-after event planners in New York.
Greenbaum had built her business against the odds and overcoming many challenges, but when Covid-19’s effects hit hard last April, it almost seemed as if this challenge would be too hard even for her to overcome.
With events canceled and stores closed, Greenbaum had no idea what the future held for her business, and what would be the fate of her many employees who relied on the thriving business for their livelihood.
“For me, giving up is never an option,” Greenbaum told COLlive. “So, together with my staff, we brainstormed to find solutions to keep the business growing and thriving.”
For months, they have been working tirelessly with every individual family to customize events based on legalities and allowances in each particular circumstance and location. Every event – no matter how large or small – is produced with the same love and attention to detail.
They also moved their flower shop to an entirely online format, offering their selection on their website so people could shop safely from home.
And now, Greenbaum has expanded her floral design shop to a larger, luxury gift experience.
The new Beyond Blooms Luxury Gift & Floral Boutique will open in Crown Heights Friday at the original location.
The shop has been completely renovated and refreshed, and will now offer unique giftware and home goods alongside their already vogue, elegant, fresh florals.
“We have expanded our storefront to allow for daily openings, and are so excited for this new venture, which will service the Brooklyn community and beyond,” Chani Greenbaum says.
Join them for our Grand Re-Opening on December 11, at 507 Empire Blvd.
