We are proud to present our emotionally heart-stirring Shidduchim Theme song “Just One” composed by the inimitable Chanale Fellig.
This NEWLY COMPOSED SONG is dedicated to our superhuman heroes; the Shadchonim and Shidduch influencers. They are determined to do whatever it takes to turn the tide. They work tirelessly to ensure that every one of our older singles has the opportunity for the joy and fulfillment of marriage.
They dedicate their lives, day and night to make shidduchim. TOGETHER, with YOUR help we can make this happen.
In honor of our single friends and family, let’s commit to making a weekly phone call to suggest a shidduch.
We should merit to be part of the ultimate simcha in Yerushalyim with the coming of Moshiach now!

Just One
Lyrics: Chanale Fellig-Harrel
A wedding invitation
One name there on the card
Despite determination
Who knew it’d be this hard
My friends move on
Their families grow
Each Shabbos meal
I’m on my own
The single life is all I see
What does the future hold for me
When will
Kol chasan
V’ kol Kalla be played
When will I dance all night
For this match heaven made
Just one
To be the half to my whole
Who’s out searching like I am
For part of it’s soul
And as days turn to weeks
Turn to months turn to years
As I soak my pillow with rivers of tears
Please suggest one more name
Cuz we simply don’t know
For time keeps on passing
And I’m still alone
As I wait
For the One
For me
Another classmate marries
And a sibling comes of age
The pressure always building
Will I ever leave this stage
To build a home that’s filled with light
Where our own story we will write
Under the stars it all begins
B’chutzos Yerushalayim
When will
Kol chasan
V’ kol kallah be played
When will we dance all night
For this match Hashem made
Just one
To be the half to my whole
Whose out searching like I am
For part of it’s soul
And as days turn to weeks
Turn to months Turn to years
As I soak my pillow with rivers of tears
Suggest one more name
Cuz we simply don’t know
For time keeps on passing
And I’m still alone
As I wait
For the one
For me
And then fear turns to hope
Turns to Mazal Tov, yes
Now partners in life, may you be blessed
For a name that you redt
Was perfect for me
The one you suggested was perfect for me
And on that day
Together
We’ll sing
When Kol chasan
V’ kol Kalla will play
When we dance through the night
For this match Hashem made
The One
Who turned my tears into glee
Who kept searching like I was,
Kept searching for me
And when under the Chupah
I will not forget
The Chossen and Kallah
Who still haven’t met
Cuz one prayer, one phone call
Can change a whole life
What once a suggestion
Now husband and wife
And on this day
Thanks to you
We’ll sing
Now on this day
Thanks to you
We’ll sing
What a torrent of emotions
So so powerful
Heartwarming and validating
An amazing and very nice song!
This song says it all
TY
Yehudis
So validating! What an emotional song. So true every word. Thank you for the awareness
Just perfect wow!!
This song is so emotional and beautiful!hashem should help everyone to find there basherta
Thank you Chana’le for presenting this beautiful song. Your voice to this tune and with these words tug at our heartstrings. Making a Shidduch is not an easy task but when the Shidduch is right and meant to be, the fruits of your labor shine through.
Chana’le from your mouth to G-d’s ears.
L’Chaim to many many more engagements!
The song is so clear I have a friend who is going through this exact situation and now I really feel her pain and want to help
Nice song and beautiful intentions I’m sure, but seems a little MUCH. Us singles do NOT want to be seen as crying lonely nebach cases (which we’re not) it’s a little too Rachmonus bearing.
Thanks anyways for all you’re doing.
Everyone else seems to see the goodness and sensitivity
What are you talking about. I see the beauty and sensitivity, but, as someone this is geared towards, I’m adding an aspect I wish people were sensitive about too – don’t view me as a flood of tears – I’m a normal happy productive adult person. The message is that there’s no life being single and it must be terrible. Making girls more deperate or uncomfortable in their own skin. Please be nice
Beautiful song
Thank you
“the single life is all i see” – really??? chanale, this may be how you see us, maybe single life is all we are to you, but we value ourselves as humans with lives and identities beyond our marital status i understand this may apply to some people, i dont mean to invalidate you, but please understand there are so so many of us who are finding this constant pity party offensive and demeaning to those so desperately trying to help us: start by looking at us as worthy human beings – not single beings, but human beings p.s. i… Read more »
Be thankful there are people out there that. Care and thinking of ways to be more innovative and be helpful . They are happy for you now yet know the joy you will have in the content of marriage and want to share that with you too. Don’t be so negative and perhaps a more grateful approach will help you look at others with a positive light.
If people weren’t saying things like this, then what will happen as we have seen from previous experience is that all the shadchanim really don’t wanna get involved with us. I’m saying this from experience as an older single myself. It definitely is very annoying and wrong for people to be playing pity games on us and whenever we go to a Simcha people saying im yirteh Hashem by you we can’t always win everywhere would you rather where nobody played pity games on you but also nobody cared about you. or where people do you play pity games on… Read more »
You make us understand better the pain. Want to help more. May Hashem help each one . Thank you chanale !!
