Thank you Chana’le for presenting this beautiful song. Your voice to this tune and with these words tug at our heartstrings. Making a Shidduch is not an easy task but when the Shidduch is right and meant to be, the fruits of your labor shine through.
Chana’le from your mouth to G-d’s ears.
L’Chaim to many many more engagements!

So beautiful

The song is so clear I have a friend who is going through this exact situation and now I really feel her pain and want to help

Hmmmm

Nice song and beautiful intentions I’m sure, but seems a little MUCH. Us singles do NOT want to be seen as crying lonely nebach cases (which we’re not) it’s a little too Rachmonus bearing.
Thanks anyways for all you’re doing.

So interesting you saw the cup half empty

What are you talking about. I see the beauty and sensitivity, but, as someone this is geared towards, I’m adding an aspect I wish people were sensitive about too – don’t view me as a flood of tears – I’m a normal happy productive adult person. The message is that there’s no life being single and it must be terrible. Making girls more deperate or uncomfortable in their own skin. Please be nice

Wow

“the single life is all i see” – really??? chanale, this may be how you see us, maybe single life is all we are to you, but we value ourselves as humans with lives and identities beyond our marital status i understand this may apply to some people, i dont mean to invalidate you, but please understand there are so so many of us who are finding this constant pity party offensive and demeaning to those so desperately trying to help us: start by looking at us as worthy human beings – not single beings, but human beings p.s. i… Read more »

Be thankful there are people out there that. Care and thinking of ways to be more innovative and be helpful . They are happy for you now yet know the joy you will have in the content of marriage and want to share that with you too. Don’t be so negative and perhaps a more grateful approach will help you look at others with a positive light.

You have to understand

If people weren’t saying things like this, then what will happen as we have seen from previous experience is that all the shadchanim really don’t wanna get involved with us. I’m saying this from experience as an older single myself. It definitely is very annoying and wrong for people to be playing pity games on us and whenever we go to a Simcha people saying im yirteh Hashem by you we can’t always win everywhere would you rather where nobody played pity games on you but also nobody cared about you. or where people do you play pity games on… Read more »
