Special thanks to the Met council, CHJCC and ENY Auto leasing for there help.
Please enter from Nostrand Ave.
Its such a nice gesture, but I think most families would prefer help with their rent or mortgage for Pesach. I wish the Rabbanim would be more involved in this most pressing issue. There are so many yeshiva families who live and work here and love it here, but are being forced out because of the rent and housing costs. Most of Crown Heights is already on Food Stamps, so instead of helping with food, help with rent and mortgages!
So because rent is ridiculous we should also not have food? Many of us do NOT have food stamps or medicaid or section 8 and every penny that doesn’t go to food can go to rent and insurance premiums.
Any money I save on food can go towards my rent. This is hundreds of dollars worth of food for Yom tov. That’s a HUGE help for many families.
Please don’t knock this distribution. If you don’t need or want it you don’t have to take, but why take it away from the many who do want and need?
No not everyone is on food stamps!so this is a big help for us ..if your on food stamps then just keep quiet and do t say everyone is on it
Is available to these organizations for food distribution to help the community. Help with rent is a nice idea, but it isn’t funded….
good Yom Tov!
I’m just so amazed and overwhelmed at this massive, beautiful gift for our family! Thank you so much!
