A beautiful program has been launched in memory of Morah Raizel Wolvovsky obm, a longtime beloved educator from Crown Heights, who passed away in Kislev 5782.
The project was launched during the past school year, that on Yom Depagras – auspicious days on the Chabad calendar – the children should take the Yom Tov home and make their home a Yom Tov house.
The program began on Tes Adar, with over 3,000 kits distributed to schools around the world.
This year, for Chai Elul, kits have been distributed to Crown Heights Schools that are open, and schools in Florida, New Haven, CT, Seattle, WA, Los Angeles, CA, Monsey, NY, Toronto, Canada, Pittsburgh, PA, Kingston, PA and more.
“Morah Raizel was always encouraging the parents of her students to make their homes Yomtovdik during each special day,” the organizers said.
She would encourage parents to give children a special treat, sing a niggun, and make a little farbrengen in honor of the Yom Tov, making the Chasidishe Yom Tov come to life.
“This Monday is Chai Elul, the birthdays of the Baal Shem Tov and the Alter Rebbe,” organizers note. “In memory of Morah Raizel, please take a few minutes, light 2 candles and sing the niggun ‘Eimosai Kosi Mar’ during dinner time on Chai Elul.”

What an appropriate way to honor her memory.
She was such an inspiration to work with at B’nos Menachem!!! I wasn’t even in her class, but her strength and energy inspired me from across the school or when I would pass her in the halls!!! Thank you for doing this campaign in her memory!
Looks amazing! Is there a way for a family to get the kit?
