Have you ever felt intimidated by terms like Malchus of Atzilus or Tzimtzum Harishon?
For many lifelong Chabad chassidim, this work prompts a surprising confession: “I never understood it that way until now.” That moment of renewed understanding isn’t merely academic—it rekindles the emotional and spiritual connection to teachings that may have once felt distant or overly intellectual.
In a digital age saturated with flashy distractions and fleeting trends, Rabbi Mendel Wilhelm, a Chabad yungerman from Crown Heights, is quietly redefining how timeless spiritual wisdom can be shared with the modern world. With a deep passion for the teachings of Chassidus and an eye for digital engagement, he’s on a mission: make lofty concepts like Seder Hishtalshelus and the purpose of creation not only understandable, but relatable, accessible, and profoundly moving.
What once remained cloaked in intricate Hebrew texts and esoteric frameworks is now unfolding in plainspoken English, thanks to his unique gift for translation—both linguistic and conceptual. He simplifies deep Kabbalistic and Chassidic ideas not by diluting them, but by distilling their essence. This clarity is a rare art, and it resonates across audiences:
Unfamiliar seekers who never stepped into a yeshiva feel a spark of understanding.
Lubavitchers who’ve spent years immersed in Chassidus find fresh depth and nuance in teachings they’ve heard dozens of times.
Each video is crafted with careful intention using visual storytelling—animations breathe life into abstract spiritual sequences like Seder Hishtalshelus.
A conversational tone—interspersing explanations with friendly banter, meme-inspired humor, and culturally-aware references that keep the viewer engaged.
Narratives and parables—classic Chassidic stories are woven in, grounding mystical ideas in human experience.

This is so amazing and so needed!!
This type of content is way overdue. Chabad (and I would say Frum Judaism in general) were lagging behind understanding that the type of content people watch on YouTube isn’t the same old way droshas used to work, it’s a different crowd, different culture, and we have to figure it out
Yossi Kazen A”H left too soon…
The talent is Ka”H great!
Just a suggestion to run it by someone without any background, with average intelligence and ask them to let you know what and if there might need more explanation!
Capitalize the first letter of the word been used,
Capitalize the H in He, Him, His etc vs writing it with a lower-case letter (he, him, his)
Much success, great content
This is much needed. Great work!
