Update: As reported, a delegation of Chabad Rabbis and activists are still visiting the houses of Rabbis and leaders in order to invite them to the massive gathering which will take place, under the name ‘Shloshim LaKedoshim.’ The event will mark the end of the thirty day mourning period of the horrific murders of Rabbi Gavriel and Rivkah Holtzberg HY”D, R’ Aryeh Leibish Teitelbaum HY”D, Rabbi Ben-Tzion Kruman HY”D, Mrs. Yocheved Orpaz HY”D and Mrs. Norma Rabinovitz HY”D.
On Sunday afternoon the delegation arrived at the home of Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, on Rashbam street in Bnai Brak. ‘Chadrei Chareidim’ reports that the group included Rabbi Yehuda Yeruslavsky – the secretary of the Lubavitch Rabbinical court in Israel, Director of Agudas Chasidei Chabad and Chabad Youth Organization – Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Aronov, businessman and philanthropist R’ Chaim Leibowitz, and R’ Zushe Horowitz of Jerusalem. The group spoke to Rabbi Kanievsky at length regarding the gathering.
Spokesmen for Rabbi Kanievsky would not comment to ‘Chadrei Charedim’ orv verify the information. Members of Aguch would not comment on it either.
Rabbis and leaders from all sectors are expected to participate in the Shloshim event.
