Chabad is weighing in on the recent cyber attacks on Israel: One of the cyber war’s most recent victims was the Ness Ziona Chabad House website, and the Hasidic movement has decided to meet the digital onslaught head on.
The Chabad house appealed to the hackers with practical advice on better ways to spend their time, suggesting they try a more meaningful endeavor, like learning the Seven Laws of Noah, rather than commit a crime.
The Seven Laws of Noah form the major part of the Noachide Laws – a set of moral imperatives that according to the Talmud were given by God as a binding set of laws for the “children of Noah.”
The Talmud states that the “children of Noah” are all of humankind and any non-Jew who lives according to these laws is regarded as a righteous gentile.
The Seven Laws prohibit idolatry, murder, theft, immorality, blasphemy and eating flesh taken from an animal while it is still alive; and mandate the establishment of courts of law.
The website published a photo of Islamic terror attack casualties and a message in Arabic stating the cyber attack was launched in the name of the Islam war in Israel.
BH. The Rebbe said, as a counter to terrorism, to say every day, an extra 3 kapitlach tehillim, and kapital 150, should be one of the three.
do you mean b/c of security or sheva mitzvos bnei noach? If the latter then the rebbe thinks differently – it is essential to promote noachsim to goyim
Finally, yes we have to teach Sheva mitzvos bnei Noach, its a message from Hashem to act this way!!!!!!!!!!!
bombarde them with sheva mitzvos bnei noach
Unfprtunately, once someone has gone that far, it is unlikely for them to do good. but keep it up!
Also, anyone know what their response was?
thanks 🙂
Dont think that this is something chabad should do.
