Jews are waiting for his arrival more than 2000 years, and until the Moshiach comes and redeems the world, there is a new website on how to hasten his coming.
Chabad.org has launched a newly revamped and redesigned section containing a comprehensive exploration of the Jewish idea of Moshiach and the future redemption.
The “Moshiach and the Future Redemption” section was created in conjunction with Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch’s Moshiach Campaign.
Two of the most fundamental tenets of the Jewish faith – as listed by Maimonides among the 13 Principles of the Jewish Faith – are the belief in the ultimate redemption, an awaited era of world peace, prosperity and wisdom, and the belief that the dead will be resurrected at that time.
The section, available at www.chabad.org/moshiach, includes articles, stories, multimedia and a corner called Signs of the Times, quoting recent world events like the U.S.-Russia announcement of a nuclear arms reduction treaty.
It mentions, that “in February of 1992, Presidents George H.W. Bush and Boris Yeltsin agreed to cut back on arms productions.
“At the time, the Rebbe noted the very tangible manifestation of Isaiah’s prophecy, that during the Messianic Era, nations will no longer wage battle against each other; instead they will ‘turn their swords into plowshares.'”
