Almost 18 years ago, Rabbi Moshe and Chanie Gourarie opened the doors of a little house on New Hampshire Ave. to become the home of Chabad in Toms River.
A lot has changed in Toms River in 18 years, but what remains the same is the love, care, and concern that Chabad has for every Jew in Toms River and beyond.
Even as Covid turned our lives upside down, Chabad was there to pick up the pieces, rise above, and move forward! Sukka on wheels, High Holidays in a tent, Zoom classes and programs, the Purim truck, Ready-made Shabbat and holiday kits, home visits and phone-calls, are just some of the innovative ways we show how much we care.
As the year comes to an end, and we usher in what we pray will be a year of blessings, we need your help to rise above and take on future!
Additionally, these funds will help renovate a new multi-purpose/kiddush room to host beautiful events throughout the year.
Chanie and the Gourarie children are weekly contributors on COLlive.com, producing a weekly video for kids on the weekly Sicha from Project Likkutei Sichos.
Thanks to a generous group of “matchers,” every dollar you give today is doubled. Please give generously and help us spread the warmth and love of Chabad to the entire community of Toms River, and beyond!
