BS”D this sounds like a kids dicussion…this is mine, no! its mine !..come on ppl!…nigunim songs its for all jews to bring moshiach, we’re all jews and were all getting redeemed BH together….what are we fighting over for?…. the very esence of the event its getting lost…. its an achnasas Sefer Torah…publicizing this as a “in your face!” kind of thing is childish… besides from the fact that it is good in every way that jews are singing chasidishe lubavitcher nigunim is for sure part of “sheyafutzu maayanosecha achutza” …theres other ppl and other topics to fight for…lets appreciate unity… Read more »

My zeida, Rabbi Dr. A. Tweki composed the nigun for Hoishea and it actually disturbed him that Lubavitch takes the credit without giving it to where it’s due. Chabad has plenty of beautiful nigunim of your own, kenstu farginen?

number 6

NUMBER SIX YOU ARE 100% CORRECT. SOME NON LUBAVITCHER PERSON ONCE TOLD ME THAT ANYONE THAT WAS TOUCHED BY THE REBBE IS A LUBAVITCHER!
WHO WASN’T TOUCHED?!

i would say, niggunim that the Rebbe sang (more than once at farbrengens) are transformed into chabad bigunim eg; french anthem

Huu!

Its not a Lubavitcher niggun (besides tzama lecha nafshi) and it wasn’t a tish….

great stuff

Hoshia es amecha and zol shoin zain di geula are not original chabad nigunim. Tzomo lecho is the only chabad niggun sung
