I wonder if people know most Marvel comics were written by Yidden as a source of hope to make it through World War 2. True maybe not the most frum influence but I like the idea of normalizing what is not understood. In the Goyish world, anyone practicing religion in any form, Jewish, Muslim, or anything else is typically ostracized and tormented by staff and students in school. Schools sole purpose is to liberalize children so that they don’t practice their religions any longer and see how silly they are. So in my mind it’s good to normalize us frummies… Read more »

While you are correct that there is nothing flattering about being mentioned in a non-Jewish comic book, because Chabad is about outreach, all exposure is good exposure. Someone reading it may want to look up what Chabad is, then they might want to know more etc. and end up changing their lives.
