Chabad Holds Women’s Retreat in Sedona’s Red Rocks

In the breathtaking setting of Sedona’s Red Rocks, 60 Jewish women from across Arizona gathered for a rejuvenating day of unity, connection, and inspiration.

For 13 years, the Spa and Spirit Chabad Women’s Retreat has been a beloved tradition, bringing women together to celebrate their unique qualities and foster meaningful connections.

Founded by Shlucha Chana Lew of Glendale, this annual event has grown and flourished, with other dedicated Shluchos joining forces to create an unforgettable experience. Among them were the Shluchos Rivky Friedman of Anthem, Chanale Dechter of Downtown Phoenix, Chanie Feigin of Phoenix, Tiferes Cahnman of Rural AZ, and Fraydee Kessler of Sedona.

The day began with a meditation and hike in the red rock mountains, followed by a creekside meditations that set the tone for a day of introspection and growth. A delicious lunch brought everyone together where everyone had a chance to share what makes them unique!

The theme of unity and sharing shone through in the various workshops, where participants explored exercise, expressive Jewish art, and text-based learning. These sessions encouraged women to tap into their creativity, spirituality, and individual strengths.

A highlight of the day was “Cookies and Conversations with the Rebbetzins,” where participants had the opportunity to ask questions and gain valuable insights into the Rebbetzins’ busy lives. The women received practical life tips, inspiration, and a deeper understanding of the Rebbetzins’ busy lives!

The day culminated in a joyous celebration of song and dance, bringing everyone together in a spirit of unity and joy. The energy was palpable, and the sense of connection and community was evident throughout.
