Shortly before the holiday of Rosh Hashana began, Chabad of Berlin, led by Rabbi Yehuda Teichtal, inaugurated Germany’s first open-air synagogue in its courtyard in the presence of media representatives.
This was in response to the needs of the Jewish community during pandemic times and, with an additional synagogue, made it possible to regulate the flow of visitors during the high holidays according to the distance regulations.
