Rabbi Dovid Eliezrie, author of the bestseller “The Secret of Chabad,” was the featured speaker for Gimmel Tammuz, hosted at the Chabad House in Johannesburg.
Chief Rabbi of South Africa Warren Goldstein welcomed Rabbi Eliezrie, who is Director of North County Chabad Center in Yorba Linda, California, at the central community event in the Johannesburg.
Rabbi Goldstein noted the remarkable accomplishments of Chabad in South Africa and around the world.
Eliezrie spoke at Chabad of Illovo for Shabbos led by Rabbi Michael Katz. In Durban, Rabbi Eliezrie met with local Jewish leaders for a private luncheon and addressed the community at Chabad of Umhlanga Rocks, hosted by Rabbi Shlomo Wainer.
“Rabbi Eliezrie connected with both Anash and the general community,” Shliach Rabbi Dovid Masinter commented. “He is a warm, insightful and inspiring speaker, and we have had great feedback from attendees.”
