Camp Gan Israel of Detroit has re-launched its traveling camp for girls completing 9th and 10th grade this summer. The travel camp announces its staff for the upcoming summer.
Back due to popular demand, Camp Gan Israel of Detroit is re-launching it’s traveling camp for teens this summer, for girls completing *9th* and *10th* Grade. Preparations are underway for a one of a kind summer experience.
The program is based out of the Camp Gan Israel campsite in Kalkaska, Michigan. Campers will be traveling throughout scenic Northern Michigan,Illinois, and Ohio, enjoying the beautiful sights in the area, and staying in various resorts.
The camp is an opportunity for girls who are looking for a wholesome summer of meaning and fun merged together. The intent is to give campers VIP access to people who have dedicated their life to Shlichus. Through meeting various shluchim and hearing a little bit of each of their lives, the girls will gain a real understanding of day to day shlichus and understand why shluchim do what they do. They will meet people who will inspire, teach and ultimately instill a passion for this unique mission the Rebbe entrusted us with.
Campers will also be enjoying outdoor sports and trips in the area, and will be returning to the campgrounds every few days.

Additionally, accompanying the camp will be a team of dedicated staff members – as well as different Shluchim alternating during the trip. The camp will be headed by director *Sara Dubinsky.*
Trips include scenic hiking, kayaking through picture rocks, water activities in Mackinaw Island, horseback riding in Marquette, memorable Shabbatons, and much more. It is sure to be a summer to remember!
Spaces are limited. We will only be taking one bus full of girls.
Camp dates are August 2- 22.
