In the midst of the sirens and bombing in Ukraine, from which many Shluchim and Jewish residents have fled, an emotional event took place in Dnipro, Ukraine.
Baikov, a Jewish resident of Kharkov, Ukraine, a man in his 40s, has fled to Dnipro in the wake of the bombing in his city.
After surviving the bombing in his city and difficult journey, after arriving in Dnipro, Baikov decided to undergo a Bris Milah.
The Mohel, Rabbi Yaakov Geisinovitch of the organization Bris Yosef Yitzchok performed the Bris.
Rabbi Shmuel Kaminetzky, the Chief Rabbi of Dnipro, and one of the senior Shluchim in Ukraine who has remained with his community, was the Sandek at the Bris.
When during the Bris, Baikov was called the name “Dovid,” Rabbi Kaminetzky emotionally shouted, “Dovid ben Am Yisroel.”
At the end of the humble event, which took place in Ukraine’s famed Menorah Center, they prayed for the safety of the country under attack while partaking in a Seudas Mitzvah.

May his mesiras nefesh help bring the geula shlaima.
Much revealed health, joy and peace for you and the whole world. Moshiach NOW!
