Today’s seniors wish to age in place, remaining in their communities surrounded by their families and friends, a reality that is even more so in our community.
Unfortunately, making this a reality has become increasingly more difficult with time as many of us work, have families of our own and government assistance and resources simply do not work with our community, thereby depriving the majority of caregivers from the resources and supports that could enable them.
Join us tomorrow night we will be hosting our first ever support group led by Life Coach Chani Vogel and hosting Sarala Giter form Hair by Sarala, who will discuss will self-care presentation.
Devorah Gershowitz, Heart to Heart’s CDPAP Coordinator, will present on her new community initiatives and facilitate the discussion on community resources.
