Crown Heights notorious car thief Terrance Nelson, who has been breaking into cars for many years and locked up many times, has been arrested Wednesday evening after being caught in the act by a quick-thinking victim.
At approximately 10:45 pm, Crown Heights resident Yossel Mochkin was approaching his car, which was parked on Union Street just off Kingston Avenue, when he spotted Nelson inside.
Mochkin told passersby that he saw Nelson rummaging in his car, so Mochkin began shouting for help.
After receiving a hotline call, Shmira volunteers quickly arrived and apprehended Nelson. They then contacted the police who arrested him.

these thugs are all the same. no way to stop them.

He should have a monitor and a curfew

If they get elected it won’t matter that he doesn’t work as he will get everything – health care, housing and an education for free. Of course he would have to… Read more »
Let’s give credit where credit is due. 10 Shmira members pursued and held Nelson down until police arrived. I was there!
Maybe our wonderful police dept should just buy him a car. Easier than catching and releasing him every few months
