Women and girls are invited to join the “Light up Brooklyn” Mitvtzoim campaign this Chanuka.
A new mivtzoim campaign, “Light up Brooklyn”, invites women to bring the light of Chanukah to local Brooklynites.
Participants will bring Chanukah festivities to residents’ doorsteps through visiting families, seniors, and local venues.
Take over Brooklyn this Chanukah and touch the lives of those who have never experienced the warmth and joy of Jewish pride. Twelfth grade, seminary, and post-seminary aged women are encouraged to sign up and be placed on a route here.
Families with children are also encouraged to participate in this campaign-please call Fraida at (917) 652-9355 or email [email protected] to be placed with a local Brooklyn family.
So nice! I feel like the mivtzoyim movement for women has fallen to the wayside. This is so amazing
beautiful idea. just please change the menora on the flyer
