Camp L’Maan Achai, the overnight camp in upstate New York geared towards boys from non-observant backgrounds, has kicked off another successful summer full of excitement.
The camp has started a fun-filled first month led by Head counselor Levi Gajer, with many returning campers as well as 5 staff members who are former campers and now attend various Yeshivas.
Kids attending were sent by over 60 different Shluchim throughout the United States.
The first week included sports, learning, swimming, and an ice skating trip.
Former staff member Rabbi Levi Meijers, who is now a Shliach in California and who has sent campers this year, paid a special visit to the camp, delighting the campers who were excited to see him once again.
Since 1992, Camp L’man Achai, directed by Yitzchok Steinmetz, has been infusing boys with a love for yiddishkeit, for many, a life-changing experience. Boys at the camp hail from California, Florida, Hawaii, Texas, Arizona, and more.

Best camp ever!
