CGI Detroit has announced an exciting new program for 8th-grade boys.
Bochurim will thrive on the beautiful 600-acre campgrounds of Gan Yisrael Detroit.
The 8th grade boys will join the popular BMD 7th grade program on the other side of the famous CGI Detroit lake, with a brand new private lakefront. The program will be geared specifically for the 7th and 8th-grade boys, in their own area of the camp.
The program is being led by Rabbi Levi Raichik, and a staff of Chassidishe, caring bochurim, who will ensure a summer to remember.
Currently, the shul and dining room are being renovated, as well as a whole new kitchen. Also in the works is a lakefront beach just for use on the BMD side, only for use in this division. The separate section also has its own mikvah, kitchen, shul, dining room and spacious bunks.
The program will be geared to preparing 8th graders for mesivta, teaching them how to learn with a chavrusa, introducing them to Chassidus learning such as is learned in mesivta.
Bochurim will also learn about responsibility, as staff will work with them on learning how to do their own laundry, prepare food, etc.
Rates to pioneer this new program as low as $2100 with scholarships, with additional discounts for qualifying families.
Boys dates 5780 are: July 28 / 7 Av – August 25 / 5 Elul
