Camp Emunah, the first Chabad overnight camp in the world and a transformative camp experience for generations of campers, has entered an agreement to acquire the sprawling 106-acre property adjacent to its existing grounds.
This significant move announced on Thursday solidifies Camp Emunah’s commitment to growth and innovation while staying true to the vision of its founders, Rabbi JJ and Rebbetzin Chave Hecht OBM.
Founded as a haven for Jewish girls to deepen their connection with Yiddishkeit, Camp Emunah has continually evolved, and this acquisition is a testament to its dedication to providing an unparalleled camp experience. Alongside the camp’s existing facilities this addition will add many more amenities to the camper’s daily experience.
In addition to the expansion, Camp Emunah has undertaken several renovations in recent years, enhancing the overall infrastructure and ensuring that the camp remains a state-of-the-art facility. These improvements align with the camp’s ongoing commitment to providing a nurturing Chassidishe environment that fosters personal growth, positive community, and a strong and authentic connection to The Rebbe.
“We are thrilled to embark on this exciting multiple-year expansion,” said Rabbi Hanoch Hecht, director at Camp Emunah. “With the growth that we have seen over the last few years, this acquisition will immediately allow us to take more campers this upcoming summer.”
Camp Emunah remains grateful to its dedicated supporters, families, and partners who have played an integral role in making sure we continue to innovate and expand each and every day.
