After the tragic passing of Rochie Paley, Chabad of Cambridge have decided to dedicate a Mikvah in her memory.
Mikvah Chaya Rochel will serve the the Jewish population in Cambridge as well as being the only mikvah in the region of East Anglia, at present the closest mikvah is over an hour away.
Paley tragically passed way at the young age of 26 On Thursday 13th Menachem-Av, leaving behind her husband and one year old son as well as a heartbroken and grief stricken family.
She was renowned for her caring and giving nature as well as being a true model of tznius and yiras shomayim.
“During the week of shivah my Husband and I sat talking night after night about what we could do to honour her memory” said Mrs. Rochel Leigh, Director of Chabad of Cambridge and sister-in-law of Rochie, “something that would be elegant and dignified that would symbolise her outstanding qualities and modesty”.
