Friendship Circle of Brooklyn’s annual Art Event is happening TODAY, June 3rd from 3-5 pm at the Jewish Children’s Museum – 792 Eastern Pkwy. Let your family and friends know!

The artwork looks magnificent, show-bags are packed with exclusive event journals and gifts, promo video has been viewed hundreds of times, the welcoming billboard is hanging, the limited “FC Bentchers Set” has been packed, and Chanie Greenbaum Events has a spread prepared that will have you licking your lips for more! FacePainting, Balloon art and a coloring station are an added bonus keeping your children busy while you admire the art.
All the artwork on display has been created by members of our Friendship Circle and will be up for sale, all proceeds benefiting future programs and expansion of the Friendship Circle of Brooklyn.

Strauss Family to Dedicate Torah
A grand celebration will take place in Crown Heights this Sunday to mark the completion of a new Sefer Torah, dedicated by the Strauss family. Full Story
All Anash are invited to attend the Siyum and Hachnosas Sefer Torah this Sunday, 20 Sivan 5778 – June 3, 2018.
The Torah is being dedicated in honor of Shmuel Leib and Nechama Strauss A”H.
The celebration will be held at The Nemes Hall/Beis Gimpel Chaim – Shmuel Leib Shul 309 New York Ave.
The writing of the final letters will begin at 4:30 PM, followed by lively Hakofos, song and dance at 5:30 PM.

Torah in Honor of Legendary Chossid and Family
A Siyum and Hachnosas Sefer Torah will be held this Sunday in memory of the legendary eltere Chossid R’ Meir Itkin obm and his Rebbetzin, Mrs. Sima Itkin obm.
R’ Meir was legendary in 770 and was often called upon by the Rebbe to help out Shluchim and Anash from the world over.
This Sefer Torah is also in honor of two Shluchim who have been taken too soon, R’ Meir’s sons R’ Zalman Itkin obm, Hamilton Ontario and R’ Mendel Itkin obm, Sydney Australia.
The Itkin family would like to invite the community to join the festivities.
The Torah will be completed in the Teichtel home, 405 Crown Street at 11 a.m.
The procession to 770 will begin at 1:00 p.m.
