Rabbi Joseph Korf, his brother, wrote the following on social media:
Chasdei Hashem and thank you L-rd! My brother has arrived home before Shabbos in the first week of Iyar -the month of “I am the Lrd your Healer”- from a long and serious illness from the coronavirus. This week literally was miraculous. Doctors were amazed. The upswing was an open miracle and Gds Hand at work.
Mordechai Yehuda Leib b Rivka Korf is now home with his wife and children and will be able to enjoy his family in the flesh.
May Gd grant him long life and strong health and may he be able to take his children grandchildren and great grandchildren to Torah chuppa and good deeds. Like the many he has always done and will continue to do to 180 and beyond.
May he and all his extended family and our father lead us toward the coming of Mashiach and be able to see all those lives -like my uncle and cousin- rise from repose together with our Rebbe and all our great tzadikim.
