Bulgarian Premier Boyko Borisov is currently on an official two-day visit to Israel at the invitation of his Israeli counterpart, Binyamin Netanyahu.
Premier Borisov visited the Western Wall Tuesday, along with Israel’s ambassador to Bulgaria Noah Gal-Gendler, Bulgaria’s head Shliach Rabbi Yosef Salamon – a personal friend of the Premier, and Kotel Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitch.
During the visit Rabbi Solomon presented Borisov with a Shofar and explained the signficance of prayer at the holy site.
The Premier then placed a note in the Western Wall, with a prayer.
Duh! Everyone who ever listened to the golden crown knows that borisov is a friend of the jews.
