The school year at the Yeshiva Tomchei Temimim in Brunoy, France has opened with excitement and elation.
The largest yeshiva in Europe, and one of the largest and oldest Chabad yeshivas in the world, is known for the fact that even during the summer – except for one week – the yeshiva students remain to study diligently.
In the months when in-person attendance was banned due to the coronavirus, yeshiva studies moved to Zoom. The yeshiva management took advantage of the only time of the year when the building was completely emptied and immediately began large scale renovations.
All the school floors have been renovated and renewed beyond recognition.
The Menahel of the yeshiva, Rabbi Mendel Gurevitch, supervised the work closely, and took care of every detail that would be in splendor and elegance, as befits this special building whose entire construction was blessed by the Rebbe.
This week, 350 boys resumed their studies, and the voice of the Torah was heard again throughout France.

I loved my time in Brunoy and I still send my sons there.
There is this Chassidishe atmosphere like no other place.
Reb itches Nemanow persona and charisma has a lot to do with it! May he be healthy and well ad 120
I spent many many years in Brunoy. I will be forever indebted to Reb I. Nemanow because thanks to him he gave me “chassidishe kneitchen”. I will never forget his erleichkeit, mentsherkeit and authenticity. I can’t wait to send my sons! May Hashem send him arichas yomim veshanim tovos!
How beautiful! Never had the occasion to visit the Yeshiva. This album is so beautiful. TFS. It is so beautiful to see that the gashmius is as well taken care of as the richnius.
