Billboard Charting Artist and Grammy Member, Moshe Reuven, will headline the annual concert at The Largest Menorah, on Thursday, December 7th, at 5:00 pm at the G.A.P. entrance to Prospect Park.
Rabbi Shimon Hecht, Director of Chabad Park Slope, sponsor of the annual event, said, “The Jewish people are currently battling a level of darkness not seen in our generation. This gigantic public menorah lighting and the community’s turnout will send a clear message to the world that we are the eternal people of light. We stand with our brothers and sisters in Israel, who will, G-d willing, experience Chanukah-like miracles.
Chanukah is a time to express our gratitude to G-d for His miracles and protection, and to celebrate the resilience and courage of our people. It is also a time to spread light and joy to the world. We encourage everyone to join in solidarity as we pray for the immediate release of all the hostages and for the complete recovery and well-being of all the wounded and bereaved.”
Hot latkes and special gifts for the children will be distributed to all early arrivals.
The Largest Menorah is a project of Chabad of Park Slope, a division of the National Committee for the Furtherance of Jewish Education (NCFJE)
