By all accounts, a Bris Milah is a very happy occasion. With a son entering the covenant of Avraham Avinu, the parents and family praying for the child’s smooth upbringing, and guests excited to be in the presence of Eliyahu Hanavi.
This week, at a ceremony in the Mayanot Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem, such was the great simcha.
Participants at the bris of the son of Rabbi Mordechai Guth, a Mashpia in the Chabad-Lubavitch yeshiva located in Makor Baruch, erupted in song and dance.
The American students picked up the proud father up high and danced arm in arm with the yeshiva’s rabbis and local Lubavitchers and neighbors.
It was Rabbi and Mrs. Guth’s first child and participants blessed that he should grow in Torah and Mitzvos, following his parents footsteps.
Was the most amazing Brit everrrrr and I’m not bias 😛
