The Levi Yitzchok Library will once again be hosting lecturer and author Rivka Caroline for a Pre-Pesach event for women in Crown Heights this coming Wednesday, March 22nd at 8:30 about how to “Bring Seder to your Pesach.”
Last month’s event held at the library in honor of Tu B’shvat featured Caroline talking about “Top Ten Ways to get your life in Order.” She has become an expert in everyday organization based on her experience as a busy Chabad shlucha and mother of seven kids, who said she prefers “boring” over “drama.”
She shared that being prepared and orderly often means living a life with less effort and not having to reinvent the wheel over repetitive details (like shopping and cooking, which can have weekly set plans), leaving more time for creativity and things of personal interest. Based on the popularity of her talk, she’s returning to help women during a typically stressful time and will share ten tips for a focused Erev Pesach. Whether making Pesach or traveling to family, women will walk away with ideas on how to bring joy, calmness and order into one’s preparations.
Some topics she will cover include “Dust is not Chometz,” “Your children are not Korban Pesach,” “Stop spring cleaning,” “It’s all about the kitchen,” “Cut as many corners,” “Nurture Mama” and “Post Pesach Tips.”
“People really enjoyed Rivka last time with her humor and tips,” says Rivky Katz, who organizes events for the library. “We’re bringing her back because it was such a success. She gives good practical advice based on her experience and will help bring calmness and seder to your Pesach. Mothers are all working hard now. Whether you’re home or going away, you need to be prepared, it’s a big yom tov with a lot to think about.”
The event, which is sponsored by Essel Eyewear and Chayale’s Mikva, promises to be a nice evening of warm ambiance, wine tasting and Pesach salads accompanied by recipes for participants to take home.
Originally from London, England, Caroline now lives in Miami, Florida and has helped thousands of mothers with their organizational skills and to improve their happiness and efficiency. She wrote her first book ‘From Frazzled to Focused’ and created a time management agenda drawn from hours of sorting and processing both physical and psychological clutter (http://www.sobeorganized.com/about/).
Using her masters degree in Psychology to help get to the root of time management issues, she is a frequent public speaker on the subject of living a better, more organized life, and simple yet effective tools on how to get there while addressing the real, underlying issues that block personal change and growth.
The event with Rivka Caroline will take place Wednesday, March 22nd , 24th of Adar, at 8:30 pm at the The Levi Yitzchok Library, 305 Kingston Avenue. Couvert is $10, which includes a salad and wine bar.

Her last talk by Tu Bshvat was amazing! Really practical!
Rivky Katz is my hero.
Is there a public Pesach Seder in Crown Heights for people living on their own?
