A new Gemach to provide rose bridal bouquets for needy brides has been started by the family of a beloved young woman who passed away at the age of 20.
Rosie Birnbaum (Rashka Bracha bas Moshe Dovid Hakohen) was taken from the world way too soon. She lived a life filled with art, music and compassion. She could not see pain, hunger, or unkindness placed on any creature, large or small. She helped the elderly, fed the homeless and entertained one and all.
Her mother, Sarabaile Birnbaum and family have started a Gemach in her memory, to provide beautiful bouquets of roses to needy brides, through the KSCVK organization.
“Our world was shattered when HaShem called his daughter home at only twenty years old. She never had a chance to get married and start her own family,” Sarabaile says.
“In her memory, we wish to provide bridal bouquets of roses for needy Kallahs. Her memory shall live through this final act of kindness. Please help to continue the kind deeds for our Rosie.”
To contribute, checks should be made out to Keren Simchas Chosson V’Kallah. Please write that it is specifically for “Roses from Rosie “. You can also donate directly on KSCVK.org and specify that it is for the Roses from Rosie gemach.
