In an uplifting and inspiring event, close to 300 people attended the Smicha ordination of fourteen Bochurim from the Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim of Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Monday, 27th of Menachem Av.
Shortly before the event, the students were tested in their final examination of the year. The test was administered by the ordaining Rabbi, Rabbi Yosef Feigelstock, Rabbi of the Chabad community in Argentina.
The Smicha program has just concluded its seventh year, headed by Rabbi Shamai Ende – the Rosh Yeshiva and Rabbi of the Chabad community of Sao Paulo, Brazil, with classes given by the renowned Rabbi Ehud Kvin.
This year’s graduating students were: Simcha Lipsker (Israel), Tzion Amitai (Israel), Mordechai Segal (Argentina), Menachem Mendel Plotka (Argentina), Shneur Zalman Mizrachi (Argentina), Moti Segal (Argentina), Avi Tawil (Sao Paulo), Berale Bucsenspaner (Sao Paulo), Shalom Dovber Ende (Sao Paulo), Yisroel Mendelson (Cleveland), Yosef Yitzchak Flamer (New York), Levi Ben Zecry (Sao Paulo), Avraham Katri (B. Horizonte – Brazil), Shmuel Kievman (New York) and Shneur Zalman Levin (New York).
