A brazen thief stole an expensive item and caused much damage to a storefront in Crown Heights early Monday morning.
The vandal was caught on the surveillance camera of Sauce N Cheese, a popular pizza shop on Albany Avenue near Lefferts Avenue, at 4:13 am approaching the storefront with an object.
The person is then seen using the object to smash the window, after which they enter the store.
A few seconds later, the thief is seen walking away with a bike.
The owner of the store told COLlive.com that the electric bike used for deliveries is worth $3,000.
The incident was reported to the police.

It looked pretty easy to get in Bh he did a quick job and took a single item. The damages could have been a lot worse.

SInce Democrats outnumber Republicans in NYC by at least a 3 to 1 ratio, Democrats will always win. The intelligent Republican voter, registers to vote as a Democrat in NYC, so as to influence the Democratic Primary, and then votes Republican in the General Election to get a more conservative Democrat. AOC and the socialists register as Democrats to shift the party left for this main reason. Republicans should register as democrats to shift the party to the right.

I sincerely hope this is satirical, but our state has elected Democratic politicians for several elections. Bill DeBlasio, in particular, allowed for high crime with low consequences. Trump advocated for the opposite.

“they” is referring to the thieves, not to any particular group, especially since you cannot see identity of the perpetrator.

“They” could mean, and most likely does, the criminals. Yet you jump to the conclusion that it can be referring only to a particular race or ethnic group. Check your privilege and your racist assumptions.

On every corner of Crown Heights there are tables set-up with thieves selling stolen goods from convenience stores. With little to zero consequence, our city has become a goldmine for thieves and robbers of the protected groups. Welcome to our new dystopian existence.
Apple makes Airtags that can track the locations of cars, bikes, etc. – maybe a campaign installing airtags would discourage car/bike thefts.
