Last Sunday, Chabad Lubavitch of Boulder County, Colorado, rolled out their first ever Kosher Restaurant night, which was met with incredible success, attracting over 200 people.
A team of Boulder’s top chefs, including Ezra Cohen and Jessica Hersh, owner of Sweet Pea Cuisine, prepared an elaborate menu of Kosher dishes, accompanied by a full wine bar.
The classy restaurant experience, which took place in the legendary Boulder Millennium Harvest House, included live Jewish music throughout the night by two of Boulder’s great Jewish musicians.
The event had such a large turnout that the hotel had to open up the adjacent room to accommodate the overflow. The crowd was made up of an assorted mix of Boulder Jews, who mostly don’t keep kosher, but relish the traditional Kosher delicacies.
Participants were grateful for the opportunity to catch up with friends, including five of Chabad’s building committee members who discussed unveiling plans for the beginning of the first phase of Chabad’s future building.
Organizer Mendy Scheiner said, “The hope was to provide an authentic kosher dining experience, in a warm and exciting atmosphere, to as many people as possible.”

The dedication of the Scheiners in Boulder is amazing.
They were zoicheh to do what the Rebbe wants: to spread Torah and its Mitzvahs.
The amount of Baalei Teshuvah and families that now live a Torah life, which is unparalleled in the state is a result of their hard work and efforts.
looks amzing!!!!!!
